Derivative Print
This started as a 3D collage or painting, which is photographed. Then the photograph was opened in photoshop and additional elements were added. It was then printed and the surface is flat and smooth and this is considered a digital print.

Derivative Original
In other cases the resulting print is used as the background to start a new original, where collage and painting is added. In this case it is considered a derivative original and the surface can show 3D collaging, painting or other hand work that makes this a one of a kind artwork.
